I am a Japanese artist using Japan's traditional painting techniques. I was not quite sure what I can actually do for this bio tech project, thus I first thought of making an artwork made out of fungi with different types of colors. In other words I am intending to use the fungi as a pigment. 

There are two methods for this experiment:

1. Culture the fungi in separate grid box and eventually create a painting similar to pixel image.

2. Culture the fungi on material like paper or some kind of sheet with inhibitory activity, resulting a masking tape-like effect where fungi cannot grow.
